Baroness at Corporation earlier this week

The tour bus of the band that I interviewed on Monday, Baroness, crashed near Bath earlier today. All nine on board were taken to hospital and two people were severely injured. Read the full story from BBC news here.

Having spent some time with the band and their crew earlier this week, I can vouch for what a lovely bunch they are and I was so upset to hear about what had happened. Just like the many bands who have been sending their Twitter love to Baroness all day long, I really hope they get well soon.

The rest of the band’s European tour dates have been postponed and I feel lucky I got to see their amazing live set on Monday. My interview with lead singer John will be up online soon.

But in the meantime all my thought are with Baroness and their families, let’s hope for a speedy recovery.
