Following in the footsteps of last week’s hectic tempo I on Monday night took three trains up to Sheffield where I not only got to see an impressive set from Echoes Of Distopia at The Dove and Rainbow but also got to catch up with some good old friends.
The next day (that’s yesterday) started with a job interview which I think went well, fingers crossed! With my head still in thoughts on how it had all gone I walked up towards the university where I, completely by chance, bumped into my old co-actor, the lovely Mr Wormald. We discussed gay punk magazines and Berlin over Coffe Rev cappuccinos and I felt myself getting really excited about moving back up to my old university city.
The afternoon was spent cleaning mould off the walls of my friend’s house before I hopped on the train back down South. It was more fun than it sounds.
Today I am locked in the girlfriend’s house, looking after the dog and working from home. I’ve been told a pole dancing lesson is on the agenda for this evening and I can’t wait!
In other news Gaga’s released her video for Yoü and I today.
“It’s a very powerful and awful and strange feeling when you’re away from the person you love,” she said explaining why she’s seen walking along a road with bleeding feet in it.
I couldn’t agree more and have already typed “blue hair dye” into Google. Fit.
