Angel Haze

I have been unable to stop listening to “Channel Orange” ever since Frank Ocean dropped this beautiful and brutally honest EP, revealing to the world that he isn’t the heterosexual everyone assumed he was. (Because a hip hop artist part of Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All can’t be gay, surely.)

And I’m not the only one who’s been pressing the repeat button. The song “Pyramids” in particular has attracted a lot of attention in my Twitter feed with both Azealia Banks and Angel Haze regularly quoting the chilled out tune.

Lately, however, Mr. Ocean has had competition. My good friend Laura tipped me off about the aforementioned Angel Haze.

“@bellaqvist this girl is INSANELY GOOD. You will def. appreciate this because you are as G, if not more G than me,” she tweeted and girl, was she right.

Not so much about me being G but about Angel being INSANELY GOOD.

With clever lyrics, crazy flow and serious gay vibes, this lady is one rising star to look out for and Azealia Banks, Kreayshawn and Iggy Azalea all better step up their game.

Angel Haze has won some serious air time in my speakers and it won’t be long until Twitter is raving just as much over this young lady and her confessions.

Download or stream her album here and do it now.

Speaking of Iggy Azalea, the rude girl with the long blonde hair dropped her video for “Murda Bizness” featuring T.I. at the weekend and nine hours ago she uploaded the link to a new, and possibly more rude than ever, track with Mike Posner. Check it out.
