Yesterday Cyd and I went to Aldi and did a MASSIVE shop. They didn’t have much in terms of tofu or soy product but we got nuts, snacks and basics cheap. After that I made a super tasty coconut and chick pea curry with couscous, yumyumyum.
This morning I made what I thought would be a majorly tasty snack; oats, coconut and apple served up with soy milk. However, I’m sorry to say that it was nothing short of disgusting – no flavour, just cardboard. Tomorrow I’m trying with berries and soy yoghurt in the mix.
At Sainsbury’s I today found Alpro soy yoghurt as well as coconut cream and tofu! Exciting times ahead.
Oh, and our weekly Graze box arrived – I must admit it’s almost gone already…
Today’s dinner: wraps with tomato/mushroom filling.
Question of the day: I bought tofu. What do I do with it?
