So yesterday Cyd and I made our own vegan pizza. Using this recipe for the base, we decorated our rustic pizzas with tomato sauce (passata, garlic, basil, a tiny bit of golden syrup, pepper and salt), tomatoes, spinach, peppers, olives and mushrooms. Cyd was feeling adventurous and put grapes and walnuts on hers – to great success, adding a bit of sweetness to the pizza. We topped our pizzas with Vegusto No-Moo Melting Cheese and a drizzle of oil.
The cheese didn’t melt the way we’d imagined it to but it was absolutely delicious non the less. And yes, I ate it all – something I’m regretting right now as we’re coming up to lunch time…
