Read my piece on The Guardian’s website today: Roseweglyn: role models for the next generation of gay girls.
In The Guardian’s Comment Is Free section I argue that these three young lesbian couples who vlog about everyday life, are helping to normalise the portrayal of young gay women.
Many of the commentators seem to think that the Rosweglyn girls and I are all so rich that we have a marketing team behind us, drawing new readers and commentators to the site. They couldn’t be more wrong.
None of us were in it for the money, which is lucky really because we certainly didn’t make any. (I’m glad The Guardian wanted to run the article though, seeing as that covers some of the cost for the new microphone I got especially for the event!)
Join in the debate, whether you agree or disagree! It’d be great to hear your thoughts.
