I took a little winter break from blogging and vlogging but I’m now back with full force. Here are a few of the things that I have been up to since we last spoke…
WE SPENT CHRISTMAS IN SWEDEN
Cyd and I went to Sweden over Christmas and we got to see my friends and family, which was lovely. We went to the ABBA museum, we took the ferry instead of the bus to get around, we had lots of tasty foods, we travelled all over the country to see different family members and it all went by too way quickly. It’s safe to say that I wasn’t very happy to leave winter wonderland behind, hence the sad face below. I put a few snaps on my Instagram feed but here are some more…

Keen BBC Radio Sheffield listeners will have heard me on Rony’s Christmas Day Special and as well as on Paulette’s show in December and on the Mid Morning show last week. My next news panel stint is on 26 February so tune in from 10.30am.

I WAS MADE CHAIRPERSON OF E.D.E.N FILM PRODUCTIONS
I’ve been made Chair of the Board of Directors at EDEN Film Productions (more info here) and I’ve been co-running their workshops in film making for unemployed members of the LGBT community in Sheffield. The participants are making three films on their chosen topics and they’re already looking very promising. Exciting stuff!
I NOW WRITE A WEEKLY BLOG FOR DIVA HiBi!

Last but not least… I’VE SIGNED UP TO RUN THE YORKSHIRE HALF MARATHON
Don’t ask me how this happened, it just did. The race is nine weeks from now, training has begun despite ice covering many of the tracks and it feels hard. But we’ll get there.
