I’m Bella Qvist. I’m a freelance writer, editor, videographer and Swede living in London.

I am the Travel Editor at DIVA Magazine, Europe’s best selling magazine for lesbian and bisexual women, and I am the Chair of E.D.E.N Film Productions, a social enterprise working to educate and campaign around diversity and equality issues.

I am Deputy Editor of VisitSwedenLGBT.co.uk and I contribute to a range of publications including DIVA Magazine, the Guardian, the Observer, Grazia, VICE, The Huffington Post, Music OMH and Scan Magazine. I run YouTube channel Backstage With Bella and you can hear me chatting on BBC Radio Sheffield from time to time.

My areas of expertise include LGBT and women’s issues, travel, language, Swedish and British lifestyle, social media, YouTube, online trends, sustainable business, children’s rights, food, coffee (I’m a former barista) and music; from heavy metal (I used to edit one of Sweden’s biggest heavy metal sites!) to the Eurovision Song Contest. It is my dream to one day do the live Eurovision commentary (move over Graham Norton!).
